Introduction
In October and the first half of November 2010, in the context of the Mosselwad project, a field campaign was performed on a mussel bed near De Cocksdorp, Texel.
Methods
The campaign focused on determining which hydrodynamical forces act on a mussel bed and under which hydrodynamical forcings mussels will erode from the bed. For this purpose hydrodynamical measurements as well as morphological measurements were performed at the mussel bed. Mussel locations will be mapped using areal photographs.
